Section 2602(b)(2) of the Public Health Service Act mandates specific membership categories that must be represented on the planning council. Members are appointed by The Mayor of the City of Paterson, New Jersey, who serves as the CEO of this Transitional Grant Area called the Bergen-Passaic TGA.

We are health care providers, community leaders, government representatives, and people who live with the disease.

The Planning Council is a dedicated group of individuals from Passaic and Bergen counties who are deeply involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Every month, we hold a public meeting to discuss the needs of persons with HIV/AIDS and to recommend how Federal dollars provided by the Ryan White C.A.R.E. Act should be spent to meet these needs.

The Planning Council welcomes your interest to join the cause. Due to strict confidentiality rules, please print and mail-in your completed application to the address shown on the application.
